Budussy by Eros
******WARNING, VERY SEXUALLY EXPLICIT MATERIAL******
The term "budussy" was coined by the late Bernie Mac and it means booty, dick and pussy which is the smells that you smell after a very thorough sex session. That is the basis behind this book. It is full of sex at every turn and it is not for the light hearted but there is a storyline behind it. In this story you have events ranging from six degrees of separation to karma but it all revolves around sex.
We are all sexual beings. You learn about sex sometimes at a very young age, or when it is age appropriate, some don't learn until later in life but the bottom line is that we all know about it and how you learn about it is up to you. In this story, the main character is a young lady by the name of Felisha aka Fee. Fee had been curious about sex from a very young age and was slowly learning about sex through various avenues whether it was exploring her body parts with her younger brother to watching or listening to her parents having sex to watching porno but one thing that she knew is that it was for her and she liked it. Fast forward to Fee going to college, she picks the college that she decided to go to because she wanted to pledge a sorority that is supposedly a myth but she knows in her heart that TSO - Try Sexual Omega truly exists and let me tell you that during her experience she goes from six degrees of separation to karma in 0 to 60 seconds flat!
Budussy does have a storyline to it but it is so laced with sex that sometimes it is hard to find the story. The characters keep you interested in the story, but the book could have been edited better. There were punctuation, capitalization and some spelling issues but for the most part it did not interfere with the flow of the story or the book. This is such an explicit book that it is definitely NOT for young eyes or hearts but if you can stand the heat, feel free to step straight into the fire!

He is a very important engineer with his company and that requires him to travel a little too much for Kimberly liking. But Kimberly has other things to do to entertain herself while Ricardo is away, like hanging out with her best friend Alicia. But what happens when loneliness becomes too much for her and she turns to her husband's best friend Christopher for reassurances? It begins a life of twists and turns, adultery, and even murder! But is this reality, a dream or your worst nightmare?
Gaiven Clairmont is a very skilled writer because he doesn't use traditional writing styles. He is an poet and poetry is his writing style but within that is the story. It is not hard to follow and this writing style which might not be good for everyone but it suites Gaiven very well. The text is very erotic and sensual but not raunchy and sexual. You can understand from his descriptions what is going on and enjoy the story with no problem. While it is written in UK english and not US english, there is no language barrier and you will enjoy the suspense in the story and you will be engaged through the entire book. I have enjoyed Reality, Dreams and Nightmares by Gaiven Clairmont and I look forward to reading more of his works in the future.

Hidden Fires by Donald Peebles Jr.
Six degrees of separation refers to the idea that everyone is on average approximately six steps away, by way of introduction, from any other person on Earth, so that a chain of, "a friend of a friend" statements can be made, on average, to connect any two people in six steps or fewer. That is what we have in this novel by Donald Peebles Jr and he is going to show you exactly how.
Ellis Bethea is dating Sondra Rockmond, a woman who is twice his age but half as savvy. Sondra has a daughter, Charlotte who their relationship is toxic at best. When Sondra's mother dies, Charlotte looks at this as a chance to rebuild their mother/daughter relationship but will that happen? Sondra doesn't have the best relationship with her mother's side of the family and is praying that she makes it through the funeral services with no problems. Janine Morrow, famous talk radio host and best friend to Sondra is married to ex-football star Malik Morrow. Janine loves her husband but she has needs that he can't fulfill so she has to figure out a way to do that and she know just how! Grant Morrow is Malik's father and lives with Janine and Malik since his wife passed away but he has secrets that will blow the roof off of the Morrow household if found out.
Charlotte best friend Brooke is a dancer at Honeybee's with Charlotte and they work for a guy named Stix LaMone. Stix is married to Valencia and Valencia is a force to be reckoned with. Just when life is getting ready to serve Charlotte and Brooke a raw deal at Honeybee's, Valencia is their saving grace and Stix will be dealt with accordingly. Charlotte's roommate, Virginia is a good girl but is hiding secrets from her mother Kate and doesn't want to be discovered.
Hidden Fires is a well written book that keeps you interested by linking the characters together by having a strong storyline. It makes you want to read more to see how they cross paths and what will be the end result. Donald Peebles Jr did a very good job with this novel and I look forward to more from him.

The Stalker Chronicles by Electa Rome Parks
Stalker: a person who pursues game, prey or a person stealthily. A person who harasses another person in an aggressive, often threatening and illegal manner.
Xavier Preston is a handsome, single author who has a blockbuster movie out called Diary of A Stalker named after his bestselling book of the same name. He was once engaged to a smart and beautiful woman named Kendall but because of his infidelity they have gone their separate ways. The source of Xavier's unfaithfulness, a woman named Pilar has not gone away just the opposite she is back and if she isn't happy no one will be!
The Stalker Chronicles will take you through the life of an obsessed woman and her quest to get back the person of her obsession one way or another. Electa Rome Parks has kicked up the intensity in this book and it truly has you nervous for Xavier and his loved ones. The storyline is so strong that I found my heart racing with anticipation of what was going to happen next. I applaud Electa Rome Parks, she is a very strong and consistent author who keeps her readers very, very happy with her stories. I look forward to reading more from her in the future.

Discovering the Joy Within by Allyson M. Deese
Joy is something that we all have within us. Sometimes it is just a matter of figuring how to keep someone from stealing that joy.
Jordyn Thomas is a beautiful girl both inside and out but she doesn't feel like that. She has a beautiful spirit but is self-conscious about her size sixteen frame. She has always felt loved by her parents and her two best friends, Shondria and Kim but never from that special person. Until she met Carlos. Carlos was the upperclassman that all the girls wanted to be with but he chose Jordyn! Carlos was so kind, sweet and caring always buying Jordyn gifts or bringing her flowers or taking her to expensive restaurants. Jordyn loved Carlos and Carlos said he loved her, until his possessiveness kicked in and is when things started to turn for the worse. Life from there was a downhill slide and a uphill battle for Jordyn but it is up to her to discover the joy within herself.
Discovering The Joy Within was a good read. It has a very thought provoking story that makes you want to help the characters but also lets you know that as long as you remember that God has your back there is nothing that you can't accomplish. This is an excellent read for bookclubs because it will cause very engaging conversations. Great Job Allyson, looking forward to reading more of your work.

Jaleel and Kayla go through some major trying times in the course of their relationship and it seems like everyone wants to break them up so that they can have them. Will it work?
Yours Truly is a romantic drama because there is plenty of that to go around. It has you engrossed in the storyline and shaking your head or talk to yourself about the characters trying to remain clam to finish the story. The storyline is strong and consistent, very easy to follow even with the drama that is brewing in the background. I have absolutely enjoyed reading this novel by Tramaine Green and absolutely look forward to reading more from her.

But that nagging feeling just wouldn't go away. Fast forward 6 years, Tracy and Ashley have a very successful business together and JD is the shining star in the DA's office. When JD is assigned a case that makes him have to cross paths with Tracy, that spark comes back and it is back with a vengeance. Is this fate? We will surely find out!
Once You've Touched The Heart is a feelgood story that allows you to root for the underdog. It gives you romance and love and loyalty it makes you smile and even shed a tear or two. This is a book that bookclubs or individuals can read, it is truly for everyone because everyone deserves to be in love. I would highly recommend this book to all readers. This is the first book in the Heart series by Iris Bolling and I a so glad that it is not the last. I look forward to reading the next 5 plus more from Iris Bolling.

I applaud Jo Ann's use of scripture and how it applies to daily living. I love her writing and I am please to have been introduced to her works!

Silk Volume 1 ~ Erotic Tales of Sinful Delight by Daryl Jarod
Silk is a book of short tales of erotic nature that will leave you warm and wanting more. One story doesn't relate to the next but the one thing that they do have in common is you will enjoy each and every one of them. At first I though my favorite was "A Lil Phone Bone" but them when I read "Relapse" I was hook, then "Devotion" totally blew me away.
This is definitely not a book club book but it will absolutely hold your attention. Even though it is a book of short erotic stories, it is tastefully written not raunchy or hard core. Daryl Jarod is very imaginative and look forward to reading more from him, not only erotica. This may be his first book but I do not see it as his last.
